I would say that they are overall relativeley equal. The important thing is that they both give a great VR experience. So both systems have strong and weak points. The Rift is more complicated to get working, requiring at least two light houses to be installed.

Finally, the Windows system is very easy to set up and even travel with, you just plug in a usb cable and an hdmi cable. On the other hand the Rift conrollers are probably slightly better quality and don't loose tracking in extreme orientations. The Windows MR set with its inside-out tracking can do room-scale off the bat. The Rift only comes with two light houses so room-scale is not an option without spending more. The tracking is a mixed bag in both cases. Also, The Acer headset has great resoltion, higher than the Rift although the Rift does seem to have a slightly higher FOV.
